چکیده
In light of the frequent occurrence counterfeit food sold in global commercial markets, it is necessary to verify authenticity tasty natural-plant-based products by checking their labels, as well pricing and quality control. Lemon juice has repeatedly been victim fraud attempts manufacturers lower price products. Electronic noses are used many fields, including beverage industry, for classification This involves detection differentiation volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from food. study evaluated pure lemon 11 samples (water, pulp, wheat straw) using an electronic nose equipped with 8 metal oxide sensors detect fraud. Chemometric methods such principal component analysis (PCA), linear quadratic (LDA), support vector machines (SVMs), artificial neural networks (ANNs) were analyze response patterns sensors. The outputs eight considered input model number groups, its adulterations also output model. Of total data, 60% (for training), 20% validation), testing) used. According results, all models had accuracy more than 95%, Nu-SVM function method highest among models. Hence, can be concluded that based on semiconductor combined chemometric effective tool high efficiency rapid nondestructive counterfeits.

Are Some Fungal Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) Mycotoxins?
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are carbon-compounds that easily evaporate at room temperature. Toxins are biologically produced poisons; mycotoxins are those toxins produced by microscopic fungi. All fungi emit blends of VOCs; the qualitative and quantitative composition of these volatile blends varies with the species of fungus and the environmental situation in which the fungus is grown. T...
متن کاملThe concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and related factors in the air in barbershops in Sanandaj in 2016
The aim of this study was to determine the density of benzene and toluene in barbershops of Sanandaj and also to determine effective factors for this pollution. A descriptive, analytical study was conducted to measure the volatile organic compound density and determine the effective factors. In this study, five hair salons and five barber shops were randomly selected from Sanandaj city. The vol...
متن کاملDevelopment of a Combined Real Time Monitoring and Integration Analysis System for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
A combined integration analysis and real time monitoring (Peak Capture System) system was developed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Individual integration analysis and real time monitoring can be used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze VOCs in the atmosphere and in indoor environments and determine the variation in total VOC (TVOC) concentration with time, respectively. In the P...
متن کاملVolatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in Conventional and High Performance School Buildings in the U.S.
Exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) has been an indoor environmental quality (IEQ) concern in schools and other buildings for many years. Newer designs, construction practices and building materials for "green" buildings and the use of "environmentally friendly" products have the promise of lowering chemical exposure. This study examines VOCs and IEQ parameters in 144 classrooms in 37...

Ambient VOCs samples were collected at three locations (PolyU campus (PU), Kwun Tong (KT), Hok Tsui (HT)) in Hong Kong during the periods of November 2000-February 2001 and June 2001-August 2001. Also the concentrations of VOCs in Cross Harbor tunnel in Hong Kong were obtained in order to determine the vehicular sources of VOCs. Toluene was the most abundant VOC detected in Hong Kong. At the PU...
